ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Institute purchase committee will deliberate on the quotations, and specifications and negotiate.

• To recommend a suitable vendor for the procurement.
• To maintain constant touch with the market condition and explore possibilities of identifying new sources of supply at competitive rates.
• To ensure equitable treatment of suppliers and promotion of competition in procurement.
• To deliberate on expenses incurred on the purchase of any item or service.
• To approve the expenses incurred on the purchase of any item or service.
• To approve repairs of the equipment related to DECE and DME branches etc.
