Mission of the Department

M 1: Updated syllabus and Modernization of laboratories as per the curriculum specified by the State Board of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh

M 2: Use of technology enhanced tools and techniques by motivated and qualified faculty for enhancement of knowledge, understanding of principles, concepts and latest trends in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

M 3: Conduct of laboratories, guest lectures, industrial visits and industrial training for better understanding of critical concepts of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

M 4: Provide opportunities for developing multidisciplinary skills, communication skills, professional attitude and ethics.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO 1: To acquire basic knowledge necessary for professional practice in Electronics and Communication Engineering fields and for higher studies.

PEO 2: To acquire technical skills to identify, analyse and solve problems and issues related to electronics and Communication engineering.

PEO 3: To inculcate commitment among students towards professionalism, ethical attitude and Lifelong learning.

PEO 4: To implant learning towards professionalism, team work and experimental based learning in Electronics fields with multi-disciplinary skills.

PEO 5: To create awareness on e- waste management.

 

Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

PSO 1: Students are able to understand the concepts of basic Electronics & Communication Engineering and to apply them to various areas like Signal processing, VLSI, Embedded systems, Communication Systems, Digital & amp; Analog Devices, etc.

PSO 2: Students are able to solve complex Electronics and Communication Engineering problems, using latest hardware and software tools, along with analytical skills to arrive cost effective and appropriate solutions.

PSO 3: Able to active social and environmental awareness along with ethical responsibility to have a successful career and to sustain passion and zeal for real-world applications using optimal resources as an entrepreneur.
